Made it to Klamath CC today, the 4th community college on the trip--only 13 more to go! Since it’s Sunday, I kept running and started the route toward Grants Pass and Rogue CC. We’ll head back to KCC in the morning for a quick event and then pick up where I ended today.
It was a hot one with temps in the upper 80s and lots of elevation as I make my way over the Cascade mountains. This looks to be a tough week, but thanks to my great crew that keeps me fed and cool I’ll get through it.
Overall my feet feel pretty good and my achilles seems to be holding up. I developed a painful blister on the ball of my foot but it is manageable.
Big thanks to Gerry O’Brien, Communications Director at KCC, who took great care of us the past couple of days. I especially appreciated the steak dinner tonight as I was hungry.
Lean running machine! 🤯🤯🤯
