Today may have been my strongest run so far. My achilles was feeling much better so I was able to run strong for over 30 miles today. The weather was cool and overcast for most of the run so I just went for it. There was a pretty dramatic thunderstorm and hail at about mile 20 that I waited out for a short time before getting back out on the road.
I finished earlier than I have lately which gave us time to head over to Crater Lake. Paddy and the kids had never been so we wanted to get this detour in. They hiked down to the water while I recovered in the van.
Tomorrow we head toward Klamath Falls and if all goes well will reach it on Sunday.
